The North Face established in 1966, in San Francisco, USA, and was co-founded by two mountain lovers who decided to set up a store specialized in high-end mountaineering and hiking equipment. Since then, it has grown into an all-round known sportswear provider. The brand has a wide range of products that vary from gloves, jackets, and winter coats to bags, bodywarmers, and hoodies. The North Face is a reference brand in high performance equipment, made for outdoor sports today, and sponsors various athletes (skiers, snowboarders, climbers, and trackers).

Thermoball™

Insulating in wet weather, foldable and compressible down to a pocket size, as well as having a water-repellent finish. Their dedication to sustainability doesn’t stop there: The North Face created the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) in 2014 to assure that the down used in its coats, sleeping bags, footwear, and other accessories does not come from animals that have been exposed to excessive harm, allowing for improved traceability and animal welfare. This RDS label guarantees that the goose down is ethically sourced and traceable. Natural down offers the best warmth-to-weight ratio in insulation which can be found in many of The North Face's products.
